Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer who has experience in Subsea Production Control component design.
You will be responsible for the interpretation of industry and international codes and standards as well as client standards and global practices. You will generate and review technical procurement specifications. You will ensure technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements.
You will also ensure that product design conforms with field proven or qualified technologies and that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiency. You will represent the company in client and vendor focussed design review and provide technical contribution to vendor selection processes.
You will ideally be a degree qualified engineer and have the ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities. Ideally you will have knowledge on the design and operation of Subsea Control, Subsea Distribution or Subsea Sensing Equipment with a Mechanical / Hydraulic bias.
