Job Description
The company is an EPC with a asset portfolio globally. They are looking to identify a Human Resources Director to work in their UAE office.
The role
It is the responsibility of the HR Director to develop and implement the yearly HR processes such as
1. Work Force Planning
2. Employee Engagement Survey
3. Objectives setting
4. Performance appraisal
5. Salary review
6. Establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP)
Conduct regular HR/management meetings with leaders within assigned Department / Business Unit
Ensure that leaders attend the relevant HR and Leadership courses
Identify recruitment needs and determine method for recruitment - search, contingency search, printed media, etc.
Conduct Job Grade evaluation and alignment for assigned accounts
Evaluate relevant media for posting of job ads
Coach managers on making of job ads
Initiate recruitment through the HR Recruitment and Business Support Team
Application management - monitor status on recruitment and liaise with HR Coordinat
Conduct HR interviews with candidates
Participate in panel reviews and contribute to the decisions when selecting candidates for assigned account(s)
Prepare salary proposals and ensure appropriate approval of salary prior to job offer
Handle warnings and dismissals in accordance with the company procedure and in accordance with local legal requirements
Conduct expatriation, cross posting and repatriation in line with guidelines and policies
The candidate
Specialise in HR with an Engineering background and minimizing 15 years experiance in the oil and gas industry.
