Cost Estimating Manager

This consultancy division executes a variety of pre-FEED projects including Field Development Planning, flow assurance, feasibility studies, conceptual design, process optimisation, troubleshooting and debottlenecking activities; they require a Cost Estimating Manager to join their team.

For this role we require extensive experience in Cost Estimating for all Project Phases ideally within the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Industry although candidates from other Energy industry backgrounds will be considered. All candidates for this role must have a relevant degree and will ideally have Chartered status.

Duties & Responsibilities - Cost Estimating Manager:
* To take responsibility for Managing the Cost Estimating Department within the Consultancy Group.
* Manage and take responsibility for preparation of Offshore and Onshore facilities cost estimates during Studies for Field Development Planning, Screening Studies, Conceptual definition, FEED and EPC pricing.
* A hands on approach will be required to manage, check the work and lead the development of the Estimates, interfacing closely with clients.
* A proactive attitude and developing assumptions & solutions to efficiently make progress and add value to the project is fundamentally important to the company's working culture.
* The work will be carried out in accordance with the HSE, Quality and Business Management systems.
