Leading Subsea contractor requires a Senior Valve Engineer for a long term contract role in Stavanger, Norway.

You will have an engineering degree or equivalent and 10 years experience dealing with the products mentioned below.

We are looking for candidates with knowledge of Valves for Subsea purposes, so please only apply if you have the relevant experience.

Job Description:

• Provide technical advice and support to Project and Tendering Managers in relation to valve selection,
  provide technical specifications for price inquiry and procurement.
• Maintain close liaison with the Customer's Technical Representative and Third Parties regarding valve selection,
  welding, materials, fabrication, testing and inspection activities
• Advise on materials selection and application
• Establish the requirements in respect of all welding, materials, fabrication, and NDT activities
  in accordance with the applicable Specifications, Codes and Standards
• The valve types most commonly used are: Ball valves, Gate valves, Check valves (piggable/non-piggable) and needle valves.
• The work will include similar work as the above for flanges, hotstabs etc.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree, with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
