Provide technical expertise on all Engineering subject matter pertaining to the Civil Engineering design, including underground facilities, drainage systems, roads/paving, foundations, concrete & structural steel buildings, etc.

Perform regular and timely technical reviews of ECW Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables developed by Contractor, ensuring Civil/Structural design optimization in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Co-ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and contractors/consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality ECW execution and integrity.

Ensure quality and accuracy of ECW Civil and Structural design activities.

Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis

Review and approve ECW Contractor’s work and ensure compliance with UZ750 contract, project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and best practices.

Review and approve construction materials.

Review of Civil and Structural installation methods/procedures submitted by ECW Contractor.

Review of bill of quantities bases in line with scope of work , specifications and drawings.

Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.

Perform calculations for design validation and optimization.

Participate in design reviews and technical workshops.

Participate in Hazop & Hazid workshops and studies for TCCF.

Provide Engineering expertise in the development and analysis of various design options.

Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers.
