My client is a leader in their field, Manufacturing and developing a range of Hardware, software and proven communication technologies all linked into Energy management solutions, with government targeted growth plans in place, they will continue to grow over the next few years.
The Role:
As an Electronics Hardware Team Leader (Electronics Engineer, Hardware Engineer) you will Develop cost effective designs for use in company products.
As an Electronics Hardware Team Leader (Electronics Engineer, Hardware Engineer) your main duties will involve:
Electronics Hardware design for products that meet Company, national, international standards, regulatory, statutory and customer requirements, EMC design, safety, environmental and cost requirements.
Produce electronic hardware designs from product specifications or written instructions within a project team environment.
Produce design and test specifications and associated documentation for the hardware design as required.
Select components for a design and initiate the component approval process for those components.
Responsible for construction and testing of prototype designs.
Be responsible for the definition and execution of hardware design processes to conform to ISO9000 requirements.
Responsible for conduct of design reviews to ensure best possible success of hardware solutions.
Medium level of authority. Required to supervise team of hardware engineers and interact with component suppliers.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As an Electronics Hardware Team Leader (Electronics Engineer, Hardware Engineer) you will have experience with:
Design for high volume manufacture
Low Current design
Directives (LV/EMC)
RF, EMC Design, Experience in low noise analogue and digital electronics design, design for manufacturing techniques
Any experience of CADstar or Pspice would be an advantage
Design of microprocessor / micro-controller based products, ASIC, FPGA design
