E&I Asset Care Engineer - Permanent
The post holder will be accountable for the development and implementation of Asset Care Policy within for his discipline for assigned refinery assets.
The Asset Care Engineer shall provide discipline engineering expertise and support to the Asset in delivering plant integrity and availability this will be achieved through the application of the Asset Care Policy.
Will develop and coordinate the supporting implementation plan and budget requirements to ensure delivery of Asset Care and planned reliability improvement.
As Asset Care Engineer is responsible for the work-scope development of Cycle Ending Turnaround for their Asset and will be an integral part of the execution team
REQUIREMENTS:
- · Engineering Degree in Discipline.
- · Chartered Status preferred but not essential.
- · Experience in the petrochemical industry.
- As a professional engineer demonstrates;
- Thorough understanding and application of engineering discipline
- Commercial awareness and contract management.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Application I.T. Computer tools.
· Good leadership skills.
- · A drive to learn new techniques
- · Ability to coach others
- · Strong commitment to health and safety of self and others, able to influence others poor safety behaviours and attitudes
