Subsea Draughtsperson The Position will require involvement in the following type projects Bundle design and installation. Pipelay Subsea structures/manifolds Field developments and tie-ins Inspection, Repair and Maintenance Installation/ Decommissioning Vessels/Equipment Bids/Studies/Feeds Specific Job Related Requirements: The candidate will be required to produce the following types of deliverables in support of the various project types undertaken by Company: Primary Steel Secondary Steel Mudmats Piles Buoyancy Anodes Modified Flanges P&IDs Pipe Supports Process Diagrams Caissons Piping GA's Isometrics Field Layouts Route Drawings Stalk Sheets Plets/Plems Reel Packing Pigging Crossings Deck Layouts Rigging Sea Fastenings Vessel Mods Umbilical Lengths Procedure sketches Storyboards Tie-in Spools Specific Roles and Responsibilities: The individual will be required to work under general supervision, applying draughting techniques to complex designs and assignments using industry standards and codes Create engineering drawings, 3D models, layouts and Sketches Assist in checking drawings for accuracy and completeness Apply acquired knowledge of relevant engineering principles to complement the design process Qualifications and Education Specified Qualifications for position: An ONC Qualification or equivalent in a recognised Technical Engineering discipline is essential Continuing Professional Development: The ability to articulate learning and training experiences is desirable Skills Technical (including IT): Competency in using the latest AutoCAD software and Inventor Series is essential Working knowledge of paper space/model space Draughting techniques Interpersonal: Able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplined design team, essential Self Management: Good organisational skills and smart working methods, essential Produces work of presentable quality in a timely and efficient manner, essential Ability to manage and prioritise work loads, essential Experience: Extensive draughting background in the Subsea sector is essential Structural or Piping experience is desirable We are looking for candidates with Inventor or Solidworks experience that have an extensive draughting background, currently working (or have recent experience) in the subsea sector.
