We are working with a global energy services company who are looking to grow their team in Aberdeen. In recent months the company have identified specific areas of the business where they would like to expand and are requiring ambitious individuals to join them to support this growth.

They are looking for a Mechanical Design Draughtsperson to join the business and be responsible for generating designs and drawings specifically for downhole tools. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are outlined below:

- Design of mechanical components and systems
- Generate CAD models and drawings
- Perform prototype testing
- Support internal and external customers on technical queries
Potential applicants must possess a minimum of a HNC or HND in an engineering related discipline and have worked in a design capacity within downhole tools.

The business is offering a basic salary of £35000 plus additional benefits and opportunities including the chance to progress into a Design Engineer's position and the option of working overseas.
