Role Summary/Purpose
- Based out of our Farnborough site the Customer Support Team is a critical component of our Commercial Operations team having a direct and immediate effect on financial performance, growth and customer loyalty. The team is responsible for reactive quotes and order processing supporting our global customers and sales teams throughout the Inquiry to Order process.
- This is a fixed term role lasting 6 months.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to requests for quotations.
- Drive flawless execution of orders.
- Manage commercial risk through adherence to processes and procedures.
- Minimise and report open issues, taking ownership to drive timely resolution regardless of cause.
- Field calls to local Sales, re-direct as necessary.
- Follow up on expiring quotations.
- Support team members cross-region as workload dictates.
- Leverage existing opportunities to grow transactional revenue.
- Constantly look for process improvements and take ownership of initiatives that bring efficiency.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High standard of verbal and written communication in a customer facing role.
- Ability to establish personal support network and not afraid to ask for help.
- PC literacy within Microsoft Office, SAP and a proven capability to learn new software tools.
- Experience using an ERP system
