Senior Cost Engineer

Contract - 12 months (possibility to extend to 4 years)

Management of Cost Control and reporting for the project
Experienced in the use of Excel Spreadsheets
Experienced in the Management of Change (MOC) and variation controls
Knowledge of estimating of changes using CTR methodology
Ability to interface with Finance & Accounts and Contracts
Reporting outputs at weekly and monthly events including charts, curves and tables
Timesheet control and management of expended hours to the correct cost codes/ CTR
Ability to trend and forecast cost outcomes for all project costs including manhours, indirects and material/ equipment
Scenario Analysis for potential cost outcomes
Knowledge and use of PAF systems
Understanding of development and use of Cost codes and WBS
Ability to understand and interface with Estimating

Key Educational / Technical Qualification needed

• Degree
• Member of the Association of Cost engineers (Optional)
• Spanish speaking would be highly beneficial

Key Previous Experience

• Oil & Gas Experience – Offshore and Onshore
• Good knowledge of Excel skills
• Experience on large EPC projects
• Integrated Project Management Controls systems – database
• Good at communication and working within integrated teams
