Swift are looking for an Upgrades Cost Engineer for a major Oil and Gas operator. The role will be based in Ankara, Turkey and will be reporting to the Upgrades Project Services Manager

Role overview

In accordance with region policies and procedures, provide cost engineering, assurance and support to the whole Turkey & EU Pipelines Team

Responsibilities and Tasks

Understand the commercial agreements underpinning the development of solutions for export of gas downstream from the Georgia-Turkey border
Prepare necessary estimates for FM’s, and AWP&B for relevant CVP stage
Generate control budgets from FM’s and approved AWP&B’s for the Appraise stage of work, and subsequent stages
Analyze and all BOTAS submittals for reimbursable costs
Produce consolidated cost reports, including updates on phasing, VOWD, AWP&B, GFO figures
Monitor and control actual expenditures on a WBS basis, including reconciliations and adjustments to ledgers as required
Maintain registers of commitments and expenditure.
Implement processes which encourage early recognition and assessment of risks and opportunities that could affect the forecasts, including cost impacts associated with engineering change
Ensure all cost coding, data interfaces and reporting requirements are agreed with all stakeholders (e.g. PSCM & FC&A), so that these requirements are included in the Accounting System, Cost Database, Contracts and Purchase Orders.
Prepare reports required for GPO
Maintain control of releases of UAP by the Turkey and EU Pipelines AGM
Analyse contractors reports
Compliance with GPO and AGT Region policies and procedures
Networking within the region
