Senior Controls Engineer – Our client is a world leader in providing manufacturing and services to the Oil and Gas and Energy Industry and now have an opening for a Senior Controls Engineer based in Aberdeen. This role is based within the company’s Subsea Engineering department where they supply a vast range of subsea equipment including Xmas Trees to key clients. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering design and output of the department including ensuring that the standard of quality is of a high level and the delivery of the equipment are coherent with the clients requirements.

Responsibilities:
•Leading the Controls Engineering Team in all Engineering projects, working particularly closely with the Engineering Section Leader.
•Interpretation and Creation of Specifications both at Customer and ISO Level.
•Lead / Participation in Design Reviews
•Problem Solving / Root Cause Failure Investigation and Technical Reporting.
•Operational Support during the Build and Test Phases.
•Assist with Commercial Operations, Product and Sales functions during the pursuit and bid phases of a tender.
•Develop conceptual design requirements for customer
•Carry out technical reviews with supply management to define the material requirements for design.
•Provide accurate and validated Technical Proposals and an understanding of commercial impact.
