Job Description
Our client, a leading Subsea Oil and Gas company in Aberdeen are looking to recruit a Communications Coordinator on a contract basis for 12 months.
Summary:
To manage and co-ordinate all communications activities one for their new in house systems including development and implementation of a Communications plan.
Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
•HND or Degree qualification in a Communications or Marketing subject or membership of a chartered organisation related to Communications or Marketing
•Extensive experience in a Communications, Marketing or Business Development environment
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Team Player
•Enthusiasm
•Self motivation
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Good organisational skills
•Ability to work to tight deadlines
•Effective time management skills
•Networking ability
•Negotiation skills
•Self Awareness / Management
•Experience working in Communications or Marketing in an and oil and gas organisation
•Experience of assisting with Communications for deployment of an ERP project
Main accountabilities:
•Develop and implement Communications plan
•Manage and implement Internal Communications campaigns / channels
•Drafting business related text for internal and external publications
•Provide support and advice to Senior Management on Communications issues
•Internal networking to ascertain internal views on a range of communications issues
•Management of Communications Budget
•Liaison with current Communication staff
