Recognised for their expertise in safety and risk management this consultancy provides high quality services to the nuclear, oil & gas and transport industries and they service the key clients in these fields. Given their dominant position in the safety and risk management nuclear market they are keen to diversify into the Environmental / Characterisation market and thus are actively looking to appoint a Principal Environmental Consultant.
The Principal Environmental Consultant will be responsible for establishing and growing the environmental business in the radioactive waste market. They will be accountable for delivering an ambitious, yet achievable, growth strategy which will include developing their presence in the nuclear decommissioning market, delivering technical projects and growing the team.

The ideal Principal Environmental Consultant will have an illustratable technical and commercial track record in the environmental / nuclear waste market. They will ideally have worked for a consultancy, delivered technical work for the leading players in the nuclear decommissioning market and have staff management experience. Furthermore, the Principal Environmental Consultant will have excellent academic credentials.
