Given the extensive growth in the exploration of Coal Seam Gas within Australia, Our client is seeking both Drilling and Completions Engineers to be part of CSG - LNG projects in Queensland.

Qualifications and Experience required:-

• Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent years experience
• Deep understanding of Coal Seam Gas (CSG) and Horizontal drilling and completions and well site activities.

Completions Engineers

As a Completions Engineer you will provide completion designs for the company and ensure that completion, completion operations, well testing and stimulation operations are in accordance with relevant standards. You will also be required to prepare work programmes and manage equipment preparation and transport.

Responsibilities include:
• Ensure that work is done in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
• Plan and supervise work requirements onsite
• Report on progress for all completion and operations stimulations
• Review compliance and ensure technical feasibility

Lead/Drilling Engineers

As a Drilling Engineer you will you will review well designs and drilling techniques as well as implement studies, completed by optimising methods and options for drilling deviated and horizontal wells.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage the day to day activities of drilling engineers
• Oversee engineering studies to improve well design, deviated drilling, non-conventional drilling techniques and rig specifications
• Efficient use of their personal time to ensure all tasks are achieved within allocated project plan milestones, or time lines given
• Prepare technical scopes of work for all drilling related third party services and drilling service contracts in line with the tendering strategy
• Carry out the technical evaluation of third party services and drilling service contract tenders in line with the tendering strategy
• Control, maintain and report on the progress during drilling operations
• Carry out the necessary engineering calculations and studies to ensure that drilling objectives are met
