There are NO age or amount of experience stipulations for this position, the Client takes a very open view of all applicants, but you MUST have experience of the THEORETICAL aspects of SUBSEA Pipeline Design Engineering including good FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FE) in particular with ABAQUS and ideally you should be familiar with 3D Modelling techniques. Almost invariably, with this type of job, my Clients say “must be able to WORK THE SOFTWARE”... This is in addition to all of the more PRACTICAL SUBSEA PIPELINE DESIGN ENGINEERING skills.
