Our client is a major Oil & Gas Operating company with a unique offering covering strategic operations worldwide. Employing over 4,000 personnel they operate with a focus on oil sands, conventional exploration and development and unconventional gas.
They are currently recruiting for the position of Compensation & Benefits Analyst, based in Uxbridge.
Job Description
- Conducts all activities in a safe and effective manner and raises safety and environmental issues immediately and in line with corporate policy
- Undertakes the role in line with corporate policy and demonstrates behaviours in line company's values at all times. Readily accepts accountability
- Carries out duties in a way that maximises value and minimises waste and risk
- Responsible for data collection and preparation for the completion of a variety of industry surveys
- Act as a key technical resource for data analysis in support of the team objectives and compensation programs
- Participate in key projects and initiatives as required. These will vary in size, scope and duration and may be individual or team based
- Ensure compensation data interfaces accurately with payroll
- Support the day-to-day administration of the Health and Benefit programs (group health, dental, life insurance, accidental, long term disability and health spending account, Wellness, EFAP, etc.)
- Assist in the development and delivery of communication to support domestic and international benefits programs including presentations, online registration, written materials and employee orientation
- Coordinate new hire enrollments/company-wide re-enrollment, analyse and summarise benefit data and make recommendations for process improvements
- Administer employee leave programs (maternity, personal, etc.)
- Develop and maintain employee communication (benefit books, announcements, orientations,
- Collaborates with others in the team and looks for opportunities to leverage their network and work with others to develop safe, practical and effective solutions

Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or degree level thinking and reasoning ability
- Experience in an analytical role combined with a strong administrative background. Ability to deal with confidential material in a manner demonstrating sound judgment
- Must display an attention to detail and the willingness to work under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy and complex environment
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Expert computer skills are essential (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP considered an asset
- Must be eligible to work in UK without restriction
This is a permanent position.
The salary for this position is negotiable.
