Our client is one of the world's largest providers of professional technical services. With a global network of more than 160 offices they operate in over 20 countries.

They are currently recruiting for the position of Project Engineer - Commercial, based in Aldermaston.

Job Description

  • To ensure application of the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • To deliver, to the Package Project Manager, individual tasks and activities and associated deliverables to meet safety, quality, programme and cost objectives, and the use of the defined project management arrangements within the DMP Integrated Management System
  • For co-ordinating with the facility the implementation of discreet areas of work

Skills & Experience

  • A good general level of education
  • Membership of appropriate Professional Body is desirable
  • Some qualification for dealing with commercial issues would be desirable
  • Demonstrable excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite. The ability to communicate at all levels is desirable
  • A good knowledge of the SQESH issues relating to a project environment
  • Preferably experience of working at company and within radiologically designated facilities
  • Experience of working within a delivery environment to agreed timescales
  • Experience of integration of multiple inter-dependent project deliverables spanning several disciplines is desirable
  • Experience of working with commercial issues or partnering contracts would be desirable
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and associated software
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work constructively with people of all levels and disciplines
  • Good oral and written skills including ability to produce high standard safety documentation
  • Ability to plan, manage and schedule work
  • Willing and able to develop Project Management skills
  • Able to learn the company delivery processes and implement effectively
  • Able to work on own initiative without close supervision
  • Capable of sensitively voicing opinion
  • Customer focused
  • A mature and confident approach to the resolution of issues
  • A proven problem solver
  • There is an immediate and ongoing need for this role to fulfil activities requiring DV clearance
  • Previous knowledge of re-kit projects within production facilities a distinct advantage

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
