Requirements
We are currently recruiting for a Coatings Supervisor to work on a key project in Central Scotland.
Our highly respected construction team are involved in some of the largest, most innovative Oil, Gas and Petrochemical projects in world, offering a diverse and challenging environment that is recognised within the industry of having the highest standards and quality of work.
Responsibilities
- Prior to start of painting and insulation activities ensure that the FWUK OU Technology
Department have reviewed all procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and practical site operational requirements. - Ensure all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available as required for surface preparation, dry film thickness checks, adhesion test, temperature and humidity levels etc, all in accordance with contractors agreed ITP, method statements and project specifications. Where applicable supervise paint shop activities.
- Ensure all approved modifications and corrections to the Piping Line List paint and insulation codes are recorded on red-lined as-built Line Lists verified as correct by field personnel.
The Individual
- Extensive track record in Coatings activities within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.
Considerable experience of supervising staff to achieve effective execution of tasks. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A degree in a relevant technical discipline is highly desirable, but not essential if you can demonstrate the right level of technical and commercial experience.
