Discipline Head - Civil / Structural - Oman

Extensive experience in the design and specification of upstream oil & gas facilities with extensive experience in conceptual studies, front end and detailed design. Fully conversant with relevant International (ANSI, ASTM, API, BSI, IP, ISO, IEC, IEEE etc) standards.

Experience as disciplined head or as senior discipline engineer.

Due to extensive use of European standards, must have proven successful experience for large European clients with facilities built in UK/Europe to UK/Europe standards.

Experience with Company group projects and standards (SPs/ERDs and DEPs) is strongly preferred.

Field experience in construction & commissioning is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to communicate, delegate, and motivate the discipline team.

Possess the potential to develop into a multi-disciplinary engineering manager, as a minimum.

PC literate.

Extensive experience in design of large oil and gas facilities, involving heavy rotating/static equipment, foundations, facilities, buildings, support structures using computerised tools such as STAAD or equivalent.


Qualifications:

Degree in discipline specific engineering (B.Sc/B.Eng/M.Sc) or equivalent.

Membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
