Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction company is seeking an International Business Development Consultant to join their team working in the Middle East/Gulf Area.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with Business Management
• Must have extensive experience in a similar role with in the Oil and Gas industry
• Strong Business development and deal closing abilities
• Previous experience of similar project execution
• Proven ability to drive aggressive relations, growth, and meet targets
• Strong verbal and written communication/presentation abilities
• Excellent organisational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Should have previous experience working in an international environment

Our client is looking for a senior professional from the hydrocarbon industry who specialises in Upstream International business. The candidate should have vast experience in the Hydrocarbons industry and must have worked for several years in the ‘Upstream Project Management industry’. They should have had experience with high level business development and market building activities linked to the construction of Platforms, Pipelines, Top Sides, Jackets and other offshore equipment used by E&P companies in theMiddle East. If a candidate has additional experience with deep sea off-shore Oil & Gas equipment used for deep sea E&P work they will have a definite advantage. In this case, he would have handled business development on behalf of companies that convert tankers into FPSO’s market and execute projects for tension leg platforms, semi-submersibles and other deep sea equipment. The candidate should have extensive experience and high level contacts in the GCC countries.
