Business Development Manager Geoscience - UK, Europe, FSU & Africa Located: Aberdeen Circa 60,000 Basic, Bonus, Car Allowance and Executive Benefits My client is a specialist division of a global oil & natural gas company and due to continued growth my client is looking to add a proven Engineering or Geoscience - Business Development Manager to focus on delivering Sales & New Business Development opportunities based around the clients consulting services. The ideal candidate will be a self starter who, through networking, meeting and relationship building with existing and potential clients, proactively discovers untapped business and drives the new business opportunities into and through the client. The successful candidate MUST HAVE a Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering Technical background to be considered for this role, as this is a Technical Consultative role. A highly effective communicator with proven presentation skills, you will be able to influence at the highest levels, whilst maintaining excellent listening skills. Extensive travel within the region is required, so additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential As an integral and pivotal member of the team, you will have a combination of proven sales experience and a strong technical background with a degree in engineering or geosciences required.
