Job Description
Our client is a super major with assets and operations gloablly in the mid and upsteam sector of oil and gas.
The role will focus on the development, maintenance and implementation of standards, practices and processes related to Safety Critical Equipment, rig maintenance, rig inspection and rig integrity. Key accountabilities - Develop standards with S&OR related to Rig integrity that will be applied globally to rigs operating for our client.
- Provide technical support to the Well Engineering Director - Rigs to verify that standards are being complied with in the areas of Rig Integrity.
- Provide technical support to the GWO Regions & GPO in the implementation of standards related to Rig Integrity.
- Verify that the GWO Regions are in compliance with our client & Industry standards related to Rig Integrity.
- Provide technical support to the Rig Start Up and Rig Build teams in matters related to Rig Integrity.
- Provide technical support to formal design reviews (eg: PHSSER, Hazop) to ensure adequate operational input.
- Provide technical support to the Rig Equipment Performance Engineer to establish continuous improvement plans in agreed areas.
- Capture learnings related to Rig Integrity and provide feedback to applicable standards. Essential Education BSC or equivalent in Science, Technology or Engineering. Essential experience and job requirements Solid experience in a senior role in rig management with responsibilities for rig integrity.

High level of numeracy and IT skills.
Good analytical skills and can clarify key issues in complex and ambiguous situations.
Ability to manipulate, interpret and make decisions based on large data sets and make clear recommendations.

Commitment to the delivery of safe, compliant and quality rigs.

High proficiency in Oral & Written English Desirable criteria & qualifications Knowledge of vessel classification, operated in various international locations and knowledge of different MODU types
Knowledge of planning & executing rig upgrades
