Job Description
Asset Integrity Management (AIM), main office in Bergen, Norway, is in the early phase of the establishment of international offices and subsidiaries in Aberdeen, UK and later in Houston to serve primarily Gulf of Mexico
Purpose of position
AIM will increase the UK activity and is in the process of starting the required growth and have also started to consider acquisitions. The position will be actively involved with establishment of the AIM UK office, the new hires and the process of acquisition.
In order to position the company for AIM contracts and for Advanced Inspection Technology services (AIT), the first strategic target is to win/manage an In-Service Inspection contract. These contracts often generate requests for AIT services which in turn could lead to an AIM contract.
This position will play a very active role in establishing AIM. Main location will be Aberdeen with visits to Norway as required.
Objectives/Scope:
The successful applicant requires having a good understanding of all aspects of business with a high degree of customer focus.
They will be required to participate in the preparation and control of budgets.
Technical and/or business education - college/university level.
Be flexible and able to adapt to foreign cultures combined with a social profile.
Previous similar management experience.
Experience of North Sea Oil and Gas industry and knowledge of contractual matters.
Be capable of working in an international environment
Be capable of communicating directly with clients
Maintain focus on the HSE requirements
Main Responsibilities:
AIM Business development.
Management of the AIM office and team in Aberdeen, UK.
Supervision of AIM personnel.
Organise and man AIM UK office with competent staff in accordance with the strategic targets and the ongoing activities and requirements.
Maintain and establish internal procedures and customer related systems.
Establish execution plan according to main goals and strategy.
Develop and carry out marketing activities, set up strategies and action plans for the region.
Experience transfer across divisions and departments.
Execute after sales activities in the region, including site work, maintenance and training.
Responsible for budget and time/cost reporting systems.
Report business progress to the AIM Management in Norway on a regular basis.
