Job Description
The Company:
Our Client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.
The Role:
Job Responsibilities:
Works with the Technology team to gather, compile and verify raw material specification data as a basis for supporting e-sourcing events
Gathers, compiles raw material, packaging and 3rd party product procurement data, working with the responsible procurement team member and prepares data for e-sourcing events
Analyze data from e-source event supplier responses for bid reward process.
Contacts suppliers and/or GLT to gather information (Technical Data Sheets, Materials Safety Data Sheets etc) in support of finished good sourcing activities
Tracks critical raw material market changes to support negotiations with suppliers.
Tracks cost impacts for finished good price changes
Updates/validates finished good pricing based on raw material changes for specific Third Parties (validates rebill pricing).
Data entry into JDE for price changes.
Item Master Load Form / QSI database updates as needed.
Imported finished good price adjustments
Work Schedule:
Part time - 24-32 hrs/week
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets competent in compiling data, creating Pivot tables and using Vlookup function to populate data
- Lotus Notes/ JDE Edwards experience.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Prior experience working with procurement and or materials management (ideal but not absolutely necessary)
- Well developed written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
