Job Description
A leading subsea service firm have an exciting position available for a business development and key accounts manager. A large amount of work with global operators has brought about the need for a qualified subsea commercial specialist to manage accounts develop new business.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organise and implement acquisitions (from Pre Qualification to Invitation to Tender) within customer group.
Understand customer organisation: tendering; procurement; contracting (frame agreement, call off or job-by-job); project management; and asset management.
Play a leading role in securing contracts through: identifying potential opportunities; developing target opportunities into prospects; ensuring prequalification; briefing bid team on customer requirements; preferences and expectations; joining bid team during tender negotiations if and when
required; and Competitor Analysis.
Monitor project performance ? liaising with Project Managers and Customer Representatives.
Collate all relevant customer information: contact details; record of meetings and discussions; press releases, journal reports; prospects; and competitor activity and performance.
Generate reports by customer, region and work type.
Prepare special reports as required by management.
Identify potential opportunities which can not be met by capabilities and advise management on potential future requirements.
Conduct all activities in accordance with the Integrated Management System Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
University / College / Industry education with training in, a Business
Administration, Marketing, or Subsea Engineering discipline.
Previous experience with relevant Offshore/Subsea Engineering background and either Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
Previous experience in a Project Management / Lead Engineering position in activities related or connected to the specific business lines of Subsea Construction, Pipe Lay, IRM and / or Survey.
